IM ALIVE!!!!!

Hello Blogger WORLD.
It's been a very very very very long time.

I decided to venture back into the blogger world today, and see what i've been missing(which was a heck of a lot actually). It made me remember why ive been avoiding it in the first place. I sat down for what i thought was just a FEW MINUTES, and next thing i new 2 hours had passed.

That didnt use to bother me since I had some free time at work in between work loads and during my hour lunch break. I probably SHOULDNT have been blogging so often at work, I admit, but I was ADDICTED. Now that Ive been busy moving, starting a new job and such, I somehow broke the addiction. I still enjoy blogging though and reading other bloggers blogs's(is that a word?), so Im not gonna stay away forever, you just wont see as much of me probably.

Recently I've been spending more time reading and working out. I bought a scale a couple weeks ago, and finally found out EXACTLY how much weight ive put on since our wedding(july 29. 2006), almost 2 years ago. ALMOST 20 POUNDS!!!!!! It isnt easy to admit that on here, but im working on it so it makes it not as hard to admit. My weight used to fluctuate within a 5 pound range, and i ate pretty healthy foods, and exercised NOT REGULARLY, but still enough to keep my weight in the 5 pound range. If i ever did start gaining a little, i would just exercise for a couple weeks and eat a little healthier, and my weight would go back down(and my stomach too). But, in the past couple months, somehow I COMPLETELY stopped caring about what I ate, and how much I ate, and NEVER got any exercise.

SOOOOOOO I decided to work out at least twice a week, and finally change my diet. Not for just a couple weeks but more of a permanent lifestyle change. I bought this book:
to help me with my goal, and so far its REALLLLLLY GOOOOD. I recommend it to any one out there that wants to eat healthier, lose weight, be more healthy, or who just loves the color black and pink. That definitely swayed me in my book purchasing choice, when looking for a book to read at the bookstore.

This is what I use to help me with my workout, and I LOVE it. If you like pilates, or are thinking about trying it,and like to do it at home, this is a great dvd to try:
As for what ELSE ive been up to....I havent decorated my apartment much yet, and havent been up to anything TOO exciting, so I guess thats ANOTHER reason ive waited so long to blog, cause I didn't have anything exciting to post or any cool pictures, and I realized that I didnt have a good enough reason to have not blogged in so long. I have seen a lot of movies and read some pretty good books lately though.

It should take me awhile to finish all of them, since I'm a SLOWWWWWW reader, and if i get interrupted, it takes me forever to get back into the book again.


Another thing Ive been up to is watching the new season of lost.

I'm not that happy with how the season is going so far. I still keep watching it every week hoping that they'll FINALLY explain what the hecks been going on all this time on the stupid island, and my addiction is stronger than ever still. Hopefully the season gets better soon.

I also fell down a half flight of stairs at work when it was raining, and now im a LOT more careful walking up and down stairs. I got this NICE bruise from my fall, but luckily didnt break anything.

I ALSOOOO finally did my taxes,

and I am SOOOO glad I'm done with them cause they SERIOUSLY stress me out. There's no good reason why they should stress me out so bad, but for some reason, after doing my taxes, im stressed for like a WEEK. And it stinks whenever I think im getting a big refund and it doesnt turn out that way in the end.
This
helped me out though, and helped me to stress a LITTLE less.



As for what Devins up to,
since this blog is SUPPOSED to be for BOTH of us.....
Hes been pretty busy adjusting to the hectic schedule of all of his classes and clinicals, but is enjoying being in nursing school.

Sorry for the super long boring rant, but from now on I promise there will be more pictures and MAYBE more interesting blogs. Heres a cute picture of my dog max to make up for the lack of pictures:
