Taking it one day at a time

I was gonna post about how bitter i was about everything going wrong for me last week...but then i realized that there are a lot of things still going right for me, and alot of things to be grateful for. And alot of people have it way worse, so i shouldnt complain., for this week, Im posting extra words of wisdom to start out my week..... so i can try and focus on being grateful for things instead of angry at what isnt going right.
The good news is that devin hasnt lost his job yet since he got our brand new car in an accident last friday...and it happened right outside his work (hes a bus driver) and his 2 bosses walked over to see what was going on as it happened.
And the other good news is that my insurance company pays for the body shop putting parts directly from the dealer(new parts) for the damage on the car.
The other good news is that my husband didnt get hurt. The other good news is that we have money in our savings to help pay for it all.

The other good news is that we finally have a fridge full of food for once. Its been a long time since we had a fridge full of food. (not because we couldnt afford it, but because we've been busy taking care of other things, and because we were lazy.
So far thist week, the only things that have gone wrong is me losing my phone...(which will cost alot to replace if i dont find it) Hopefully i do find it. And, the other thing is my foot is probably broken and i dont have insurance to fix it. All i did to hurt it, was walk in flats that dont support my feet. My foot bothers me every once in a while since i injured it badly when i was 12, and never got it in a cast and just kept walking on it. It never bothers me this badly though, and never for this long. Its pretty swollen, and i cant move it or put any weight on it. But neways, this week im gonna try and forget about everything going wrong, and just be happy for all my blessings.

Martin Luther King, Jr.:
An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

Germaine Greer:

Security is when everything is settled. When nothing can happen to you. Security is the denial of life.

Dorothy Thomspon:
Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow.

Edna St. Vincent Millay:
My candle burns at both its ends.

It will not last the night;
But oh, my foes, and oh, my friends --
It gives a lovely light.

Friedrich Nietzsche:
And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh.

John Lennon:
Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

Joni Mitchell:
I've looked at life from both sides now

From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all.

I like your page! Was it already pink & black like that in the same places before? Cuz if it wasn't, I'm pretty sure that's how I told you to do it. I don't really get how you could have a tooth thing where you said, but I don't understand where either. That's really cool that you're trying to be positive! It's very hard sometimes but it makes a big difference.

Way to stay positive! I think if I had that many bad things happen to me in one week I'd be pretty mad at the world and I'd be a grump. But that never helps anything I guess. hopefully your car won't take too long to fix. Did Devin get his motorcycle? Hope your foot feels better. It's probably not broken or you wouldn't even be able to stand on it at all. Just rest it (if you can) and don't wear flats!
